The Hall of Fame Veterans Committee will announce its selections -- if any -- in just 15 minutes here at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas. Historically, it has been difficult for players to get to Cooperstown this way, but the election process has been revised a couple of times recently.
The guys who appear to have the best chance of gaining induction are Ron Santo, Dick Allen and Joe Torre.

i wonder how perfect the canadates have to be before the veterans committe vote them int the hall of fame. i would think that there are many eligable for enshrinement to the hall of fame
