First aid anyone?
Believe it or not, I'm headed to the Washington Capitals Media Day and they claim they are going to make me skate. This should be interesting. I'll keep you posted on which ankle I break first.
The only thing I know about hockey is that you're not supposed to hit anybody in the neck with your stick, but it apparently happens sometimes anyway.

Why? This is Baltimore hon. No hockey here with it's 80 dollar tickets.

Pete,
I've got 9 and 1 already dialed — and my index finger is already hovering over another 1. Just give me the sign.
Or do you just want me to wait until someone pulls your jersey (sorry, it’s hockey ... “sweater”) over your head?

Pete's reply: I'm definitely hurting, but I don't think I need to involve the paramedics.

It's been great reading your blog, Peter Puckhead. Stay away from the corners. Who's writing the column going forward ?

Pete's reply: I hope me, but I'm suffering right now.

If they put you on skates have them film it and put a clip on youtube. I could use a good belly-laugh!

Pete's reply: That's coming, but it'll take a day to get everything together.

Use the Hockey stick as a third leg! It will help a little. I sat Front row to a minor league hockey game last year, it is amazing how fast they skate. I was in awe of the skating speed. Forget the backwards skating and stopping almost as fast as starting.

Pete's modest. In the OC, he was an inline legend. You could hear his slapshot reverberate thoughout the burbs.
