I'm happy to report that your boy Blake Davis [ drafted ahead of your other boy] Tripp is coming around. Don't give up on Davis just yet.

The only thing that cheered me up even remotely was Johny Damon screwing the Yankees last night. Did you guys see that? Other than that there wasn't much to feel good about last night. Note to O's: Lay off Daisuke's slider.
Mickolio's ERA was under 1 for almost his whole stint at Norfolk. When did it rise to 1.5? I am really hoping that somebody (Mickolio) steps up here and asserts himself - here is a chance at being a Major league setup man. Go for broke, kid.

The O's called up Kam Mickolio!! The Erik Bedard trade was already a complete steal, if this guy comes up and plays well it makes Andy McPhail look like a genius and Seattle look even worse!

Here we go again. How predictable was that bases loaded walk? Our organizational lack of big league pitching is pretty disheartening considering the pitching was expected to be decent. I know we have great prospects like Tillman and Matusz in the system now, but that's we said when we had Loewen and Penn before. This vicious cycle of pitching poverty sucks.

What is up with this ump? He didnt call two obvious strikes leading to two runs.

I'm really happy that Waters got to experience his amazing performance against the Angels in his debut. Unfortunately, he is not a major league pitcher and doesn't deserve any more starts. He kind of reminds of a poor man's Brian Burres, which obviously isn't a good thing.
