Losing 4-3 in the seventh
So far, so good for reliever Greg Aquino. He tossed a scoreless seventh, retiring three straight batters after Milton Bradley reached on a bunt single.
Lance Cormier hadn't allowed a run in his last two appearances covering six innings, but he fell behind, 3-0, to the first batter he faced, Ian Kinsler, in the sixth and served up a two-run homer that gave Texas a 4-3 lead.
Rangers starter Scott Feldman - and a quick show of hands if you know much about this guy - gave up a two-run double to Nick Markakis in the first inning and didn't allow another hit until Brandon Fahey's single in the fifth.
The Orioles got a two-out bunt single from Melvin Mora and Adam Jones walk in the sixth. Manager Dave Trembley sent up Luke Scott as a pinch-hitter for Guillermo Quiroz, who didn't look all that happy to walk back to the dugout from the on-deck circle. Scott popped up to end the threat.

You can't ask for much more than what Sarfate just brought to the table. If the radar gun for MLB gameday is to be trusted , he was at 96-97 mph.
Incidentally, based upon the same gun, Loewen is 3 mph off of last years velocity prior to his injury.

Burris is a joke...he's had ample opportunity over the past year to prove himself - h's here becasue they are left with no other options...he was lucky he didn't give up 10 runs tonight - and there are those who want to call this team contenders and buyers? They are sellers if the right deal comes along...they are a few years away just like the Rays were a few years ago - and the Rays? About time you did something after picking first for a decade?
