Updating the game
A pigeon flew into the press box and landed in front of Peter Schmuck, and none of us can come up with the appropriate joke. But we know it's there.
Jason Giambi homered onto Eutaw St. for the second time in two nights. They've traveled a combined 825 feet.
Giambi has three of the last four home runs from opposing batters that have landed on Eutaw.
Derek Jeter's sacrifice fly gave the Yankees a 3-2 lead in the fifth.
Another baserunning mistake: Brian Roberts broke too soon for third base after his one-out double in the fifth inning and got caught in a rundown. Melvin Mora, who stood at the plate, has reached on a bunt single and homered. He also leads the team in batting with runners in scoring position.
Mora walked and Nick Markakis doubled, but the Orioles didn't score.
For the reader who asked about Single-A Delmarva pitcher John Mariotti, he's still rehabbing a leg injury, but has been doing some throwing. The Shorebirds are hoping he returns before the break.
Also, Double-A Bowie pitcher Chorye Spoone had an impressive two-inning stint at extended spring training as he nears a return.

Comments
Thanks for the news on Mariotti.
Roberts needs a good pip on the back of his head for that move. Mora's hitting 450ish with RISP why try to get more when you're already creating problems by being on 2nd?

A pigeon flew into the press box and landed in front of Peter Schmuck, providing further proof he has yet to master e-mail.

When the Orioles start juggling around their minor league rosters and move a young pitcher up to Norfolk, the guy to go has to be Leicester. In his last 29 innings he has given up 30 earned runs. He has gotten pounded in 6 straight starts. Kinda similar performance to Traschel's at the major league level. So they should both go away.
Even though he doesn't have a great average (for that matter, none of the Orioles do!), it seems like Huff has gotten a lot of big hits for the Orioles already this year.

Obviously the pigeon wanted to see the schmuck that said,"Get rid of Daniel Cabrera."
Or perhaps the pigeon was really looking for Peter the Schmuck and someone directed to him to press box instead of the owner's box.
Seriously, Schmucker keeps tellin' everyone how he works for peanuts and the next thing he knows, pigeons start showing up looking for something to eat.

The only update i want is to DESIGNATE JAMIE WALKER FOR ASSIGNMENT. another lefthander gets a lead off double against him/ When oh when are they going to realize that he is done, when he doesn't have command of his slider he doesn't have a out pitch

STOP GETTING PICKED OFF!
If the pitcher is paying enough attention to you to keep you close, you probably aren't stealing, so STAY CLOSE!
Cost the Os a run... dumb dumb dumb.

What's up with Walker? In addition to pitching pathetically, that's the second time in the last few games he's failed to cover first, costing the Orioles a key run on what should have been a routine out. As tough as it's been for him to record outs, he needs to take them where he can get them!!!

Don't worry lefty his time is coming, He is a liability for this team right now., that is twice is the last couple of weeks that he didn't cover first base, no reason to keep a guy like him much longer that can't do the job he is getting paid for.
