George Sherrill threw a simulated game this morning. Aubrey Huff took some swings against Sherrill - his second straight day of facing live pitching.
Huff could appear in an exhibition game early next week. Sherrill should pitch on Monday.

I'm surprised to hear that Troy Patton, with the soreness he's reported, is still throwing bullpen sessions.
Has he switched to his right arm?

Brett - Point taken, and I didn't mean to suggest no one should post anything negative. I just cringe when I see some of worse offenders "kick 'em when they're down" at a moment's notice. I've been an O's fan since 1969, and there's no denying the last 10 years has torn me up as a fan. The Angelos regime is certainly earned much of the criticism directed its way.
I guess I have to read some of the "venting" with a grain of salt. I realize that it comes from the fact the team has so many passionate fans, fans who have every right to be disillusioned.
Some fans can walk away from their favourite teams when they're not happy... I can't. So I keep hoping for better things and I've reconciled to being patient.
