Wieters update
Now I'm hearing Matt Wieters isn't playing tomorrow in Aberdeen, so the wait continues.
The Orioles are having their team photo taken today at 3:45 p.m., so clubhouse access for the media will be limited. I'll send along the lineup, and some other news, as soon as I'm able.

Roch,
Pretty bad time to have a team photo, eh? I hope they aren't wearing the black jerseys. It will look enough like a funeral already.
A few entries ago you posted about O's prospects in the Arizona Fall League. How does this work, anyway? Does each team have a set number of players they can assign? Do players ask to go so they can play, or does the team have the power to make their signed players play in the league?
Final thought: I would like to submit a nickname for consideration. Yankees pitcher Joba Chamberlain should henceforth be referred to as "Joba the Hutt". Please advise.

I bought tickets for Friday's game in Aberdeen... will Weiters be playing? Or did I waste 22 dollars?
At least the money will be spent on a team who's bullpen will not give up double-digit runs... I hope...

Will the team photo have a special theme for the season ... like I don’t know, maybe have everyone wearing their glove and looking over their shoulders to beyond the left-field wall?

For future seasons, if they would like a team photo while the players are smiling, they should try to schedule it before August.

Team photo... they actually schedule it when they have a losing streak.. you would think their PR department would do it when they are winning... but that's not possible these days, isn't it?
What the heck are these Front Office people doing? Smoking cigars and drinking? Do something, whatever, just do something positive!

Did anyone see last night....about the 8th inning, a fan sitting in the first row behind home plate with a bag on his head? On the MASN feed, you can actually see O's security escort him out.
Since when is that a violation?
