Well,Pete,I agree to a certain point about blowing the Browns away.I think the coaches,no matter the score, will be looking at some positions for positive feedback; how about kicking, pass rushing, Webb at cb,Flacco shaking his funk, Cam's playcalling(nah, just joking about that)etc......Anyway,the Ravens usually don't play very well on a national stage so I would'nt be too surprised if they have to rally again to pull this Brown's game out.I can't even contemplate a loss and what that would do to Ravensnation as a whole.

The Ravens need talent on both sides of the ball which they don't have. They have a little of it here and there but nothing scare most teams. On defense justin b, kelly g,and dwan edwards bring nothing to the table. on offense, the ravens have no number 1 reciever. But to hear Ozzie tell it their qb can make every throw regardless of who is out there catching the through. That's not true as we have seen it. Against bad teams like the browns, chiefs the ravens will look good, but when Indy comes to town and Pitt comes to town they will look like a .500 team when it's all said and done. Lay this at the feet of The wizard of oz, Ozzie Newsome

Although games are not played on paper, it's a safe bet to say the Ravens will win this one.

The Ravens need to have a statement game against the Colts. They need to embarrass Peyton Manning in Baltimore. I know, easier said than done, but they do need something dramatic to show they are for real.

On a side note: I know everyone says that we can't blame the referees, but I have watched the NE, first Cincinati, and Vikings games, over and over again. When I watch other games and try to look for official tendencies, I notice that worse penalties are not called on other teams but they are called on the Ravens.

The Ravens are "punished" with penalties more than most teams in the NFL. That is not a coincidence. The Ravens have a reputation of being the bad boys of the NFL, because of some past incidents. People still think the Raiders are bad-asses too, but we all know they hasn't been remotely true for years and years.

Swagger?????

That is exactly our problem we are still walking around with that same "SWAGGER" we had when we won the Super Bowl, even more now because we have the self-proclaimed "3 headed monster" offense.

The problem with "SWAGGER" is if you don't deserve it by having a punishing defense or dominating offense, you loose games. We have neither, but we walk around with a "SWAGGER" and think we do.
The truth is teams aren't scared of our defense any more, teams expect to have a 100 yard rusher AND a 300 yard passer against us now.
Nobody has EVER been scared of our offense. We have showed signs of life that might have got some attention, but we are back to a lame-duck offense again.

Oposing teams aren't even afraid of coming into M&T anymore. Divison rivals expect to sweep us now.

Screw getting some "SWAGGER". We need to get some respect back, we have lost way to much this season. Just beat the Browns. You don't get any respect back by beating up on last place teams. You get respect by beatting up the Colts, Steelers (twice), Bungles (twice), Broncos and Vikings. If we can't beat these teams (which we haven't yet) we don't deserve to walk around with a "SWAGGER".

Didn't see the vid because I'm at work ... but this week is nothing more than an opportunity to improve. The Ravens will pick up a game on the loser of CIN and PIT with a win.

The psychological benefit of a big win is dubious. If you win big because you are that much better than that opponent, it means zip when facing a stronger opponent.

I would rather see a 17-13 win where genuine improvement has been made than a 34-3 cakewalk where the quality of play didn't matter.

As for swagger, the Ravens might have some of that if they don't fall behind by 17 in a relative blink of an eye as they did against MIN and CIN. The fact they won the rest of the game means little now.

The bottom line is BAL needs to beat IND and PIT twice enroute to at least a 10-6 record. (Obviously, they need to beat the teams they are supposed to beat, and that is Step One this Monday for the rest of the season.) BAL owns the tie-breaker against SD or DEN. Conference wins will go a long way to hold off HOU and NYJ should they decide to go 10-6.

That leaves a sweep of PIT if they are wildcarding from our division. If CIN is wildcarding, a sweep of PIT is still necessary because tying CIN isn't good enough anymore.

A win over IND is preferrable to a win over GB since they are in the AFC, but an 11-5 or a 12-4 is asking too much at 4-4.

Let's beat CLE by whatever score. Let's improve. And let's take that improvement to IND at home the following week.

We can have the swagger post-Thanksgiving at 6-4.

I think the Colts are not that hard to beat. They are hurt in the secondary and Flacco should be able to light'em up. It will be a high scoring game with Flacco and Manning going at it. Once we stop Indy's run, we should be able to take care of business! Pittsburg, however, looks too good and we're gonna have our hands full. We were 3-0 and they were 1-2!! Look how quick things have changed!! WOW, I would not have thought a 0-2 record against the Bengals!!

You failed to mention the worthless swiss cheese secondary of which Peyton Manning will pick apart with ease. The "great" Ravens offense had trouble scoring on the 1-7 Browns. Stop your dreaming and face reality.
