Reed not a fan of Ochocinco's "tweets"

The Twitter wave may have washed through the NFL ranks, but don't count Ed Reed among the devotees.

In fact, the free safety was practically disdainful when asked if he reads Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chad Ochocinco's Twitter postings.

"No, I don't," Reed said. "Next question. I don't care for his tweets."

I love Ed Reed

Bottom line is this:

Ed Reed= professional

Chad Ochocinco= unprofessional

Reed started to hit a little more last week just like he did last season when he started slow and built up as the season went on. I think part of it is protecting his neck and him truly feeling he is in football shape. I get the distinct feeling that Ed is going to lay some wood on people this Sunday.

I love Ed Reed he IS a football player. No nonsense, no silly - play the game. Hardcore. I'm tickled pink he's a Raven.

I also like ocho 8, come he's just a guy having fun. He's talented and smart. Likes to shake it up and does it all in good fun. I think he's good for the sport. I hope he has a real bad day Sunday, he's a trash talker that can back it up - whew hate that....

he's a great WR and he likes to have fun, no harm in that at all... He hasn't committed any crimes or killed anyone off the field so stop hating and calling him unprofessional... with that said, I hope Ed Reed knocks him silly like he did "NO" shawn Moreno!!! Just shut him down and shut him up against our Ravens D, that's all I'm looking for.... persoanl attacks are for haters of the world that aren't happy with thier own miserable lives!

Ed Reed - professional, amazing football player, but takes himself too seriously.

Esteban Ochotweeto - professional, amazing football player, does not take himself seriously at all.

They're in the entertainment business; each chooses to be entertaining in a different way. Both are pro-bowl caliber players though, and I love the match-up.
