Ozzie and Harbs should be ashamed of themselves, I'm watching a 35 year old corner that just came in off the street on Friday, covering Hines Ward like a blanket and Ben can't find anyone to throw the ball too. Oh, his name? Ty Law!!!!!!!! What the hell? What have you been doing in the palace in Ownes Mills? Nothing!!! Because if you were doing your job and trying to make this team better, you would have signed HIM or Lawyer Mallor or anyone else, even C-Mac that could help us. Clearly a 35 year old CB that missed all of camp and just joined his team on Friday is way better than anything we currently have in our defensive backfield.. Dam Shame!!!!

The only way to do your job and earn some respect from the Ravens faithfull fans is grow some Man Balls!! Bench someone, shake up the lineup, give others a friggin shot! It's obvious L.Webb is better than Foxworth or Wahington, Demetrius Williams is taller, can jump and is faster than any of our other WR's, run a wild cat/Raven once in a while with Troy Smith like you did last year at least, bench Dawan Laundry, sign L. Malloy or anyone on the street (C-Mack) since you weren't smart enough to sign Ty Law who is playing well on Hines Ward with no camp and just off the street into a Bronco uniform 3 days ago, run big McClain more up the middle like last year along with McGahee, run a 3-4 with fast LB's like T. Gooden & McClain blitzing on the ends, I mean I could go on & on, but the bottom line is your only job is to grow some Man Balls and shake things up..... Stop feeding us the same old diplomatic bs everything is ok , just need a tweak here & there, blah, blah, blah.... We are tired of this BS!!!!!

The Ravens need to go back the three headed monster running attack and the unbalanced line. The Ravens need to sign Lorenzo Neal to lead block for McGahee, rice, and McClain. They need to put L.J Smith, Demetrius Williams, and Paul Kruger on the field to contribute somehow. Cut either Frank Walker, Chris Carr, or Jalen Parmele to sign K.J Gerard and either Justin Harper or Eron Riley off the practice squad.

Coach, this is hard to say, but you do not have a bunch of "tough hard nosed players" ... Pittsburgh and Cincinnati do .. but you don't .. you have about 10-15 ... certainly not 47 ... you need to make changes -- all managers do when their people don't perform ... it is inevitable .. eight games of a 16 game season is more than enough time to know the Ravens management has made some very big mistakes this year regarding the 53 man roster. You and Ozzie know this and so do we. Stop the sad act -- fix things ... and realize these people in the stands are not millionaires they work hard for the money to sit in those stands .. and to see your team be pushed around .. and put forth such a miserable effort (well no effort) was an insult to those people who you asked to scream last week against Denver .. we did that .. and what happened yesterday .. all of you left us down and embarrassed the city.

The only way Harbs can do his job better .. is to have Newsome do his job getting the players we need !...

Here's an idea, Harbs, how about dropping all the stupid cliches and getting on somebody's butt? You're Mighty Men crap aint working, so adjust, right Mike Preston?

John Harbaugh is facing adversity for the first time and soon we will find out if he has the mettle to rally the team and induce them to play respectable football for the rest of the year. I think he does have what it takes, and he will learn things about himself in the next eight weeks. He will learn that platitudes and slogans alone don't motivate. He will learn when to praise the players and when to call them out.

Mr. Harbaugh finds himself in a tough situation. The fans expected a playoff run and if we take a pragmatic view of our chances, it is hard to see the Ravens getting in.

Worse, the team could easily end up in total reverse, ending at say, 6 and 10 or 7 and 9. When expectations are set high, frustration sets in for the fans and the players.

The team was not as good as they looked when they were winning and not as bad as they look when they are losing.

Weaknessess have been exposed and it is up to the head coach to find schemes to deal with it. Football is a game of adjustments.

I say good luck John Harbaugh. I for one am rooting for you.

Hey anonymous, you ever think that the Ravens did shut the Broncos down just like TY Law did last night? Could it be the Broncos themselves? He had one good game, calm the heck down. C-Mac is a drunk who got burned all last year till they benched him. You forget that already?

They don't need the wildcat, they need to execute on offense better, and they need to play Ladarius Webb more. He is the best corner they have.

I said what I said, above. But I agree with Gil. We are rooting for you Coach... you need to learn from this -- after all you but a year from being a rookie head coach -- even Shula had a few rough patches. You need to make changes where you see they must be made. wishing and hoping won't cut it.

Well said Gil. This simply isn't as good a team as last year which makes Harbaugh's job tougher. Ozzie had to make some very tough decisions in the off-season with Lewis, Suggs, Scott, Leonard, Landry, Stover and Jason Brown. Birk, Oher, Washington, Webb, Ellerbe are all great additions, but, with the exception of Birk, they are developing. If Harbaugh and the rest of his coaching staff can pull off a 6-2 second half, it would be a remarkable feat. Even with the lesser talent that Harbaugh does have, the Ravens are a few plays away from 5-3 or 6-2 right now and they have probably played one of the toughest schedules of any NFL team. I am not optimistic that the Ravens can make the playoffs even if they go 6-2, but I do want to voice my strong support for coach Harbaugh and his staff and I also want to voice my strong support for Ozzie. Fans who want to bash Ozzie for every personnel decision he has to make and every loss should move to Cleveland. Don't forget to take Mike Preston with you.

the wildcat is a gimmick. not working too well in philly where they put Vick in to run QB dive plays and 3 yard HB dives.

How do I get that job? 1.2 mil to hand off and slowly fall forward 2 yards. What was ANdy Reid thinking wasting plays like that. Like he just expected something explosive to happen at some point by Maclin or Jackson that he could afford to throw away plays putting Vick on the field to pick up 2 yards.

Watch the entire press conference. At the end, Harbaugh was asked about his comments criticizing the Dallas Cowboys and he spent the next minute apologizing and sucking up to Jerry Jones just like he did to Jared Allen a couple of weeks ago. I liked it better when our coach didn't feel the need to get sappy every time he hurt someone's feelings.

"...and what happened yesterday .. all of you left us down and embarrassed the city."

Really? And I thought that a high murder rate, political corruption and crumbling infrastructure were embarrassing to a city. And if the loss has got you down, perhaps you could go outside and play catch with your kid. Or any kid. Get a grip - its a football GAME.

I do love this blog. It is where I come to laugh and laugh. You people show why Baltimore deserved to loose the Colts. You have a nice team that is aging. But to you the organization and the NFL are horrid. You are whiners and cry babys. You want to replace the whole team. You blame the refs for every loss. You are all pathetic. These entries show why my kid will never set foot in a MD public school. What a buncha ignorant fools. Get a life.

Joe, MD public schools rank #1 in the nation idiot, read and maybe you would know that. @A-hater, Ty Law is better than anyone else we have except for Reed (on his good days) and L-Webb, so he could have helped. Oh, you must have forgoten we have Indy, Pitt 2x & Green Bay coming up with those explosive WR's. The Wildcat/Raven can put teams a little off that never see it like Cincy, Pitt & Indy. Who runs it against them? Nobody! We ran it a few times last year and Troy even passed the ball to Flacco once and he almost scored. I don't advocate passing to Joe but do something different. Even Miami used it with a different wrinkle the other day with Pat White and moved the ball against NE. The wildcat is a formation to make the defense think a little and get some tough rushing yards. Funny how it gashed Rex, Bart and the NY Jets a few weeks ago. Anyway, shake things, sit people down, start Demetrius Williams, start L-Webb, Kruger shoud be given a shot along with those young safeties, I mean grow some balls! You "fans" have your opinions and I have mine, period. Shaking things up and not feeding us the same blah, blah, bs is all I'm asking. If things were like this at your jobs, you better believe some shake-ups would happen, demotions, firings, job evaluations, conference calls, meetings, threats, etc. etc....

all of that was @ Gill & tb

You got that right, coach!
What is lacking is discipline. If you would but, look past the players fortune and hype, most have waxed fat,and think they're over the hump. They're lazy, unenthusiastic, and mentally undisciplined!
Besides that, I put a curse on the team!
You'll have to thank me, before I belay that or there!
