Notebook leftovers
Here are a few additional items that didn't make the notebook in Tuesday's edition of The Sun due to space constraints:
*After averaging 12.7 touches and 77 combined yards and rushing for five touchdowns in the first three games, running back Willis McGahee is averaging 4.3 touches and 4.3 yards in the last four, and he has only scored once -- via a pass from quarterback Joe Flacco. But Harbaugh insisted that McGahee is still a vital part of the offense. "I’m sure Willis – like any great player – wants to be out there playing because he’s a talented guy and he can help us," Harbaugh said. "But he’s also the kind of guy who understands that if I just keep doing what I’m doing in this offense, I’m going to get my shot and be a big part of what we’re doing. Willis McGahee and Le’Ron McClain and Demetrius Williams and L.J. Smith – and we can go right down the line – those guys are going to be a huge part of what we’re doing in the next few weeks."
*Harbaugh declined to say whether an official had missed a false start on the part of Denver center Casey Wiegmann that may have precipitated that free safety Ed Reed’s offsides penalty. "I can’t comment on the officials," Harbaugh said with a slight smile on his face.
*About 40 members of the NFL Club from Roland Park Country School attended Harbaugh’s weekly media briefing Monday. "We’ve definitely upgraded this side of the room," Harbaugh joked.

What the hell happened to LJ Smith?. I was expecting to see some two TE sets with LJ and Heap. I'm sure it would pose problems for opposing defenses.
