Mattison feels "very good" about Ngata playing

Defensive coordinator Greg Mattison said Thursday that he feels “very good” about the chances of Haloti Ngata playing.

Ngata, who sprained his right ankle Sunday, didn’t practice Wednesday. He is a big part of the Ravens’ run defense.

“I think Haloti will do what he has to do to play,” said Mattison, who added that it would be a trainer’s decision.

Let's hope that if anyone misses a game, it's Mattison. Either Bart Scott was single-handled responsible for the Ravens' defensive prowess last year, or Mattison is the one responsible for ruining what had been the team's strength.

Fire Mattison!

It wasn't Bart. It was Jim Leonhard!

I agree we always had a strong defense and now for the first time we are giving up BIG plays and having problems stopping the run (Cedric Benson) over a 100yds last time we played. We finally get a OFFENSE and now OUR DEFENSE and SECONDARY is QUESTIONABLE WE JUST CAN'T GET A BREAK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
