Mason: don't talk, just play

Some of the NFL's best purveyors of smack includes legendary players like Lawrence Taylor, Warren Sapp and Deion Sanders and current players like Joey Porter, Bart Scott and Chad Ochocinco.

One name you won't see on that list is Ravens wide receiver Derrick Mason, who pooh-poohed the whole notion of trying to get into an opponent's head.

"The best trash talker I've ever seen was Marvin Harrison. He said nothing, but he beat you every play," Mason said. "You don't have to talk. If you beat a man every play, that's your trash-talking right there. Some guys do it. But I've found that it just tires you out after a while. Physically, it tires you out. Some guys, it gets to them, but if you've been in this league long enough, it doesn't bother you whether they're trash-talking or not. You're going out there and just playingt. You're not worried about trash-talking."

I'd be a Ravens fan if they would just shut up and play. Instead I have to watch Kelly Washington celebrate on those rare occasions he gets a first down. Just shut up and play!

We dont want you as a fan ItIsMe. Kelly Washington is a pro football player having a little fun, when you become a pro football player and get on the field you can then show him how you do it, until then suck it up and dream on.

Rare occasions he gets a first down? Isn't that all Kelly catches?

Please, please do not become a Ravens fan. Try the Bengals, they need some bodies to fill up the seats....
