Can you tell my why Paul Kruger has not dressed for a game yet this season? The guy is a second round pick and was playing well in the preseason. Everyone was talking about his "motor" and how he hustles. At least we could get him out there on special teams and sub him in on some plays on defense. At this point it can't hurt to see if he can get some much needed pressure on the QB since Suggs and Pryce can't. Maybe there's something else to it that I don't know but it just seems to make more sense than bringing David Tyree here for special teams when they aren't playing him at receiver anyway.

Do your recall when DeCosta said in the offseason, that the Ravens are NOT one player away even though they advanced to AFC Champ game (i.e. Ravens were overachievers)? Do you think the Ravens are underachieving or really on par with where they should be which is a fringe playoff team? Ravens don’t have a “bad” loss yet; they are losing to teams that are simply better and more balanced. And until they retool several of the units such as secondary, D-line, and receivers were the expectations really skewed?

Why did the Ravens wait until so late in the game to use the hurry up offense?

Should the Ravens replace Houska now before he has a chance to miss another must make field goal?

Ken,
Can you explain the Raven's fascination/fixation with the pass? We lost the battle of time of possession 40 minutes to 20. We selected Oher over a receiver. When we run to set-up the pass like we did last week, we have success.

Ravens running game seems to lack something. I am thinking we have 3 tailbacks and no fullback. Any chances or resigning L. Neal?

Why are they not using players like Demetrius Williams,LJ Smith, Paul Krugger and Troy Smith in the wildcat formation. The other receivers were not getting open yesterday and they didn't make a effort to get a big play receiver in the offseason. They pay LJ Smith $2 million dollars as a free agent and he has one catch all year. And what happend to Troy Smith in the wildcat him and Ray Rice in the backfield at the same time would be a real threat for opposing defences.

It all starts at the top. The coaching staff either isn't doing their job properly or the players just don't care...and don't feed me all the hype that they do. If you were embarrased like we were, would you be hugging members of the other team and smiling after the game. Well, just remember those guaranteed money contracts that are so graciously giving out. It's like working for the government and getting paid millions more. As working people, if we performed like that at out jobs, we would be on notice that our job was in jeopardy.
And if anyone thinks that we didn't make a mistake when we let Stover go, you have your head in the sand. Just look at what he has done already at Indy. It's going to be interesting come the 22nd if he ironically kicks the game winner.

It's time to look like a different team each week in a # of ways. Flacco is a good quaterback as long as he does not have to move his feet to get to the next steps which allow him to escape a rush and give his receivers an opportunity to work themselves to another level, ala Carson Palmer. The run has to be the re-focused walk for this particular team. Flacco is most effective when he is not put in a position when he has to throw, and if he has to throw then maybe giving the allusion of the wildcat or something that helps him get through some of the obvious progressions that are schemed. But he also has to make the throws that are there. This is what I have seen. And obviously I am not as proficient in disecting what we have been seeing the past eight weeks as most fans.

Time to bring Billick back. That loss was on the coaching staff for not realizing that they needed to go to a short passing game much earlier.

When do you think the Ravens are going to realize that you CAN NOT I repeat CAN NOT pass the ball on every down. If you notice when the Ravens win they have a balanced attack. When Super Bowl Champions win they have a balanced attack. The Raven can not and will not win when they throw the ball 30+ times a game and only run the ball 15-17 times a game. If you look at every game the Ravens lost we threw the ball twice as much as we ran the ball. To me that does not make sense. Why do we have three good running backs if we are not going to use them?
When are the Ravens going to realize how STUPID they are for letting Stover go. Every October Stover scores more points then the entire offsense. So with this in mind does this mean we are following the Orioles philosphy in that we keep the bad players and we will cut the good players.
Somebody better get their head in the right place and stop letting the offensive coordinator who was 1 and 15 as a head coach call the plays that are pass, pass, pass, punt. Somebody better realize what a balance attack means. Also somebody better realize that the offsense has to take what the opposing defense gives you. Somtimes you pass the ball to set up the running game. But most the time you run the ball to setup the passing game. Also by running the ball you control the game and you give your aging defense time to rest. Last but not least Rice averaged 3.2 yards a carry in Sundays game. Just by running the ball Rice would have picked up first downs.
We also have a 260 pound running back why don't we go to a two back offense and let the 260 pound back open up the holes and let Rice run wild. I guess that makes too much sense and we want to be known as a team with a ton of talent but no common sense on how to use that talent.
Cam Cameron needs to learn how to run the ball or leave the team. He does not know his but from a hole in the ground.
