Harbaugh won't update Ngata's injury status

Ravens coach John Harbaugh wouldn’t comment on Haloti Ngata’s sprained right ankle.

“As with all injuries, we’ll have an injury report on Wednesday,” Harbaugh said during Monday’s news conference.

But Ngata’s injury isn’t considered serious. The starting defensive tackle left with 10 minutes remaining in the third quarter Sunday and didn’t return. Still, the Ravens were ahead 13-0 at the time and were never really threatened, which likely played in the decision not to bring back Ngata.

According to a team official, Ngata had his ankle taped twice but he didn’t feel comfortable with it. X-rays were negative.

Ngata has been one of the most durable Ravens. Since being drafted in the first round in 2006, he has never been sidelined in his 55-game career.
