Five-game losing streak on Monday night "disturbing" to Suggs

Playing on a primetime stage before a national audience has not been a kind setting for the Ravens, who have lost their last five contests on Monday night.

The revelation that the team hasn't won on Monday night since routing the Green Bay Packers, 48-3, on Dec. 19, 2005 was downright earth-shattering to linebacker Terrell Suggs.

"That’s disturbing, man," he said. "Are we really 0-5? I didn’t even know that until you said it. Hopefully, this streak ends Monday, but like I said, we know they’re cooking up some new stuff over there, and they’re going to defend their own field. So we’ve just got to prepare for everything."

Asked about the thrill of playing on Monday night, Suggs had a humorous response.

"All I really think about is all my ex-girlfriends who are going to be watching me," he said. "I’m like, ‘Yeah, you shouldn’t have dumped me. I’m out here now and playing Monday Night Football.’ But no, in all seriousness, it’s a very flattering game to play in. What player in the NFL didn’t watch a Monday Night Football game growing up? Even if you were a football player or not, you still watched Monday Night Football games. It’s Monday Night Football, and you usually have got your relatives over. Like I said, it’s a very flattering game to play in, and you just want to go out and have fun."

Uh,Sizzle, you might be kicking off in front of a high school crowd according to some accounts.Nevertheless, how is your shoulder doing,so far? Please remind the offense to not only show up,but, actually play with the football at the beginning this time(?). Thanks, bub.

Cant wait to see your lackluster effort on MNF.. maybe you get 0.5 sacks and 2 tackles

Wait, Suggs is still playing?

Ummm, maybe if you finally show some effort this season, our Monday night losing streak will end?

How bout you guys try not to give the refs any reason to beat you with penalties and it is a guaranteed win against the Browns. Sad thing is it would have worked against Minnesota, Cincinnati, New England....NO PENALTIES = WIN.

Suggs aint nothin compared 2 redskins defence

Hey T-Fizzle. You might want to step it up an notch and make a sack. You can start with your containment assignments and stop over running the play trying to pick up cheap sacks and selling out the rest of you team mates. While you are at it you might want to loose the extra junk in your trunk. Oh wait, thats right it is all that extra money you are luggin around.

Who is this guy Suggs? Does he play for the Ravens? I haven't heard his name much this year.

Suggs. Your ex girl friends will be watching you trying to catch your breath and miss miss miss.

Maybe if he stopped hanging out at strip clubs all the time he could concentrate on football and actually do something positive on the field.

Ed, I think you forgot to mention that the 48-3 rout of the Packers was led by Kyle Boller's 3 TD passes and 136 QB Rating. Maybe Harbs can consult with Boller about rising to the occassion when the national TV cameras are on.

lol suggs is stuck in this lame 1942 d maybe our biggest lost was rex but nobody talks bout foxworth did anybody watch him paly in atl wow suggs is not the porb just throw the ball at foxworth quick and they catch it he holds them

This not hard to belive: Steelers, Steelers, Steelers, Patriots, Broncos enuff said.
