Dungy on Ravens, Steelers

Tony Dungy, former Colts coach and currently an analyst for "Football Night in America," sees some similarities with where the Ravens and Steelers are going into Sunday night's game.

"They both have playoff potential," he said this week, "and they're both in mid-season slumps."

The Ravens (5-5) have lost five of their last seven games. The Steelers (6-4) have lost their last two. Both teams need to win Sunday to have a realistic shot at the playoffs.

Here are some of Dungy's observations.

On the Ravens:

"Baltimore is moving the ball OK, they're just not scoring. Baltimore needs to take advantage of some scoring opportunities and chances in the red zone. They've got to get a player other than Ray Rice to steop up. Their other question mark is, can the secondary hold up physically?"

On the Steelers:

"Pittsburgh is relying on the passing game a lot. They have problems with returns. After losing to Cincinnati, they give up a kickoff return for a touchdown in Kansas City. The special teams unit needs to be better."
