Crying is allowed for Jets' Ryan
I love all of this fuss being made over New York Jets coach Rex Ryan, the Ravens former defensive coordinator, crying in front of his players.
Big deal. Football is an emotional game.
You have to have a passion to be successful and sometimes it comes out. We're talking Rex Ryan here, not Elvis Grbac. If I had lost five of my past six games and was heading into Foxborough, Mass., to play the Patriots after they just blew a big one to the Colts, I might cry, too.
Ryan made a big stink out of the game when the Patriots came to New York earlier in the season, and the Jets pulled the upset. Bill Belichick won't forget and neither will Tom Brady.
Rex better cry. He better get every ounce, every drop of emotion out of that team or the Jets might get blown out.

Hey Mike, how come you only support coaches’ decisions when they are coaching on other teams? You’re just like us—overly emotional fans; unless we are talking about our star players the other team almost always seems to have better counterparts than we do during difficult seasons.
For what it’s worth (and it’s not worth much) I do not believe Rex Ryan did himself—or anyone else in particular, any favors by crying before his team only to make a self deprecating mockery of it during his press conference. Then again who am I to judge—after all I’m just another overly emotional fan…
