Collinsworth weighs in on Steelers-Ravens
Cris Collinsworth, analyst for "Football Night in America" and former Bengals receiver, offered this appraisal of the Ravens-Steelers Sunday night matchup:
"The most intense rivalry in the NFL. You have to wear pads just to watch...The AFC North will probably be decided by how Pittsburgh does against Baltimore. It's really wonderful football regardless of the records but now the records are very significant because of the Cincinnati loss (last week)."

Please,Chris, don't say anything derogatory about the game Sun. night;we had to endure Tony Kornhieser a few miserable times when the Ravens were'nt up to snuff.Plus,I don't care if big Ben is'nt playing;that's just the way the head,er,the ball bounces some years. One other thing- the purple rags don't mean much to most of us-except the soldiers deserve all the proceeds.

Until the Ravens get over the "mental" hurdle of the Steelers they will always find a way to lose. I hope the Ravens win this one.

I'm curious after listening to Collinsworth and Michaels call the game. Did Ben accept Collinsworth's post-game marriage proposal? If not, did Chris at least get to carry Ben's luggage and gear bag out to the bus? That must have been very special for him. I'm also wondering who will win the love of Brett Favre this year, Joe Buck or Dan Deirdorf. Certainly the competition for Tom Brady's undying love is a crowded field between the croots at the NFL network and the referees who throw flags when Tom asks them to.

At the end of the game, Collinsworth was trying to sell the audience on how he felt the game would play out, "I keep thinking Dixon will run, run around the end on a fake, I don't know but keep thinking Dixon will.....". I screamed at my TV and said, "Hey Collinsworth, how about an INT to one of our LB's?" and the Gods answered LOL!. Thank you Paul Kruger. You shut up Collinsworth and that's not easy to do.
