What changes will we see after the bye?
It will be interesting to see what changes the Ravens have made during the bye week. One I would like to see is defensive coordinator Greg Mattison play loose a bit more. Instead of playing a lot of base defense and allowing teams to just come at them, I'd like to see him move players around, gamble a bit more, blitz a little more and give opponents something more to think about. I don't think the Ravens have the personnel yet to just sit back, and take teams on without being diversified. All defensive coordinators have their style, and maybe Mattison's will pay off in the future, but I think he should utilize the talent they have now. The Ravens are built on speed and aggression.

Landry must go to a back up safety with Zybikowski getting the start , he can't be any worse , plus Web as nickle and utltmately starting corner...............just changing schemes won't work with the two prominent weakness's of Landry and Carr............

There's two aspects of football (and life): 1. what you do, and 2. how you do it. All the jumping around and confusion we've been used to does no good if the quarterback is not sacked or at least pressured. On the other hand, Mattison's more fundamental approach would be fine if our guys could execute. I don't know the answer, but it looks like we may not have the talent for the fundamental approach and may have to adapt and try some tricks to overcome our lack of skill, speed, strength, soul or whatever. Come on D, let's catch fire!
