Mason respects Bailey but doesn't fear him

Wide receiver Derrick Mason had several compliments for Broncos cornerback Champ Bailey. He said he considers him one of the best in the NFL.

But Mason won't back down from this challenge.

"You can’t be afraid to play your game," Mason said. "You can’t be afraid as a receiver to challenge him each play. If you don’t challenge him, then you limit yourself to half the field. So, you’ve just got to go out there and play your best game. You’ve got to bring you’re A game against him, because if you don’t he’s going to embarrass you.”

Out your money where your mouth is Mason. Im going to be a hard critic and tell you I love the talk but I have to see it on the field......Especially since Im trying to trade for you right now and I have your QB...

Champ Bailey is a great cover corner...tremendous instincts and physical ability.....although a few years ago on monday night football Chad Johnson embaressed him.....Derrick Mason's Route running is superior to any receiver that has ever played in the NFL....Better than Lance Alworth, Fred Biletnikoff, Jerry Rice or Chris Carter.....not even these all time great receivers ran more dynamic/ explosive/ elusive routes than Mason...he is the hardest working receiver of all time....which is why the lack of development by Clayton and Willams are a mystery to me.
