Ken,
I'm pessimistic suddenly. What a bummer. The schedule is a killer; the defense is not adjusting (who plays plain vanilla against these passing attacks any more? Even the Colts blitz from all over now.); the Bengals and Steeelers both look good enough to win their 10 or 11 games. This could go down as a hugely disappointing season. Talk me out of it. Please?

Ken,
Does the motivation for the Ravens knowing they could be 6-0 overcome the reality that they are 3-3 and are now in a very tough position.

Great analysis!
i completely agree with your vision of the team problems...
we have lost against 03 good team and 03 top QB, come on, there no way to panic. But it's made 2 years that the NFL give us a very tough schedule!!!
yes suggs and price have to step up! yes our corners need some help! yes we all love ed reed 's interceptions but we don't like when he blows up his coverage assignement! yes one of our rookies have to step up! yes webb ellerbe and mc clain deserves more playing time!
And yes we are going to show the rest of the NFL that we are for real! broncos, here come the 1st lost...

I'm sorry, but if Mattison runs the defense the way he is running it I don't think this team makes the playoffs. I just don't see it. Look at the personnel we have. It is geared towards 3-4 and exotic blitzing. We essentially have Mike Nolan and Rex Ryan's players. We do not have Greg Mattison's players in the front 7 and if he keeps trying to run the defense like we do, I just do not think we are going to go anywhere this year.

I'm not blowing up the season for a playoff run after 3 losses, even though their consecuative.I think the team and staff know they don't want to dig a deeper hole, anymore. However,Cincy and Pitt will lose again, too,so things should even out a little more in the division down the road.Question is,will the team step up,iron out some bad habits in the meantime, and win a few?

Is there any reason why Demetrius Williams is not playing? Even if we go 4 wide or he splits time with Kelly Washinton, it would greatly improve our threat for the deep ball. He made a great catch that had to be reviewed & he made a great block to get Mason in the endzone!! Do the coaches really have time to put anyone that can help us in the dog house that isn't a disruption on the team? I don't think so! This dude could be like or better than Sidney Rice if given a chance. Anyone ever heard of Sidney Rice before Farve started gunning it to hime and he started making awesome plays? NO!! We couldn't cover him and niether could the Steelers!! He has that potential, give him a chance!!!
