Harbaugh refuses to talk about injuries
Ravens coach John Harbaugh didn't want to talk about injuries Friday, especially the status of offensive tackle Jared Gaither.
Asked if Gaither would be a game-time decision, Harbaugh responded tersely, "I'm not even going to comment on injuries. We'll see. If he's out there on Sunday, you'll see him. If he's not, you won't."
As practice ended, Gaither (neck) and linebacker Tavares Gooden (head) walked off the field with helmets in hand, which likely means both participated in some portion of practice.
In the locker room, both declined to comment on their injuries. Gaither did add, "I feel great."
Gaither has missed the past two games with a neck injury. He had a full practice Wednesday but sat out Thursday's workout.
Gooden, who said his chin got dinged up at a recent practice, didn't participate Wednesday but was limited in Thursday's practice.

Harbaugh is obviously frustrated with the injuries, level of play and the depth at each position. With the only exception being RB. He is starting to feel the preasure of being a head coach. It's really starting to get to him. As they keep stumbling he will get to a point that he may avoid the media entirely. He can't deal with the TUFF questions of situations on the field!!!!!!!!!

Harbaugh has to be one of the most obstructionist coaches in the league with regard to the media. We essentially learn nothing from his "press conferences". Aggravating.

If Harbaugh wants to be arrogant like this , it ould do him well to start winning! We put up woth Billick's arrogance when he won but when he didn't he was gone, It is this kind of arrogance that really puta off the fans, it is an insult to everyone who roots for and pays to see the Ravens!

Harbaugh is developing the same arrogance as Billick when dealing with the media. Dealing with the media is part of the job. It should be done with some professionalism. No need to be "terse".

Guess what Ravens fans? Harbaugh is playing Hard Ball. He isn't being arrogant, he is simply utilizing a strategy that is employed by organizations like the Patriots. Why concede that certain players are or aren't playing while the competition is able to prepare and adjust to those injuries? It's tough to lose 3 games in a row, but to start presenting Harbaugh as arrogant and out of touch is ridiculous. The guy is 19-9 at this point in his career. We're not talking about Rod Marinelli here. Nice try, folks. RELAX!

I believe Harbaugh gets up-set because parts of the team and coaching are not staying focused.
Also, the media would like to call all the shots even though they are not qualified. Sorry.

Seriously?! You guys realize you are getting one side of the story...the medias! Who cares if he doesn't want to talk to them, I would get tired of them as well. And honestly, who cares about the injuries. Does it make a difference if the fans know whos hurt, are you not going to watch the game if Gaither or Gooden don't play. The whole injury report is pure BS all for the mighty gambling dollar!

I must admit i really like coach harbaugh and the way he weeded out the malcontents off of this roster. However he is really staring to feel what it's like to take the heat every week. Last year he didn't have any pressure on him at all because they weren't expected to win, now things are starting to unravel right before his very eyes and he doesn't seem to be able to take any pressure at all. That my friend seperates the average coaches from the very good ones. He won't last very long with his attitude and jis evasive attitude towards things.

Geez, a three-game losing streak and look at how quickly everyone turns on "Harbs." He's still a no-nonsense, hard-working, humble everyman who runs a tough camp. All these things that so endeared him to Ravens fans are quickly forgotten in the midst of a losing streak. Its amazing how quickly Ravens fans do 180's -- next thing you know they'll be pining for Chris McAlister's return.

Geez, give him a break, i saw the PC and he looked a bit serious and came short when he answered that but i wouldn't go as far as to label him arrogant. It's obvious he didn't like the question but at the same time i don't need to know who's playing and who's not. The Broncos do actually, so in a way, it's ok he didn't say anything. Why giving the other team tips for adjustment?
