Gaither listed as doubtful
Left tackle Jared Gaither, who has not practiced the last two weeks because of a neck injury, is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against Minnesota.
Still, coach John Harbaugh refused to count him out of the Week 6 game.
Otherwise, the Ravens appear to be in good health for this game. Linebacker Jarret Johnson (shoulder), tight end Edgar Jones (hamstring), defensive tackle Haloti Ngata (back) and new wide receiver David Tyree (hamstring) are all listed as probable.
Doubtful for the Vikings is wide receiver Darius Reynaud (shoulder). Listed as questionable are wide receiver Percy Harvin (shoulder) and offensive tackle Phil Loadholt (ankle).

I'm not sure who I would rather have blocking Jared Allen this week. Oher seemed to do a pretty good job on Odom last week. However, I think losing Gaither for another week is going to put the Ravens at more of a disadvantage at right tackle than at left. Marshal Yanda needs to step it up so Flacco can have time to set his feet and throw downfield. If Joe has time, we win. Simple as that. No way the defense allows back-to-back 100 yard rushers. Not while Ray Lewis is still breathing.

Ray is an old tooth. He has maybe a few years left in him. AP doesnt need to run because artifact favre will throw downfield all game anyhow. Hard fought game - Vikings by 3

This is a big loss Gaither will need help with Allen and that will entail Heap,Mcgahee,Rice,Mcclain,or Ben Grubbs this takes away from your protection and passing game hopefully we can see more of LJ Smith,Derrick Mason,Mark Clayton.

We have to account for Allen all day(like Suggs used to be).I say roll Joe away from that side in the beginning and see how successful that can be.We need Gaither for the long haul,so,he'll be back next game after the bye.
