Denver's defense dominates
At 6-0, the Broncos are the surprise team of the NFL this season. It's not hard to find the reason. Under defensive coordinator Mike Nolan, a former Ravens assistant, they lead the NFL in scoring defense (11 points per game) and third-down percentage (26.9%), and are second in total yards allowed (262.5) and yards per play (4.4).
Even more impressive is their defensive performance on third down in the second half. The Broncos have allowed only two conversions out of 35 third-down plays after halftime this season. And they haven't allowed any in the last four games. No team since 1992 has done that.
Asked about Denver's second-half play, Ravens coach John Harbaugh said: "Well, I think they get after it. They’re very aggressive in the second half and they make a lot of plays. They’re playing with a lot of confidence, and you know, there are 1,000 reasons. There are 1,000 reasons. They stop people on third down. That’s the bottom line.”

The Broncos defensive streak of not allowing third down conversions will be coming to an end this Sunday. Mark my words. Does anyone think they can keep Flacco and company down like that?
If you do you're a fool who is about to see the errors of his ways.

Why didn't we sign Nolan this past offseason? He would have been a much better choice. Ozzie is having a bad year.

Whoa! Thanks for the 3rd down conversion factoid. Somebody tell Rice & Mason!

To Mike Brown...The last really good defense we faced, the Bengals (much improved this year also) held us to 27% third down conversion. But, I hope for the best. Otherwise, a mutiny in B'more.

Actions speaks louder than words. Mike Brown's words speaks volumes and he is implying that the game between Denver and Baltimore is over. Statistically Brown's numbers does not add up because baltimore has been on a loosing streak and they got whipped by a team(new England) that lost to denver and they almost lost to another team(San Diego) that couldnt even get close to denver. So what does this mean? it means the game is not over and U cant bet on a loosing team! Go Broncos! Flacco, beware, they are coming after you!

Here is a list of defenses who look more like a Ravens' defense that our current D-crew:
1. Denver
2. Redskins (this hurts)
3. Jets
4. 49'ers
5. Bengals (this hurts more)
For the love of God demote/fire Mattison! Man, it doesn't help I'm watching the Top 10 defenses in NFL history on the NFL network. What happened to our defense? Well, Mattison happened.
