Who's faster: McGahee or Figurs
While a group of reporters surrounded wide receiver/return specialist Yamon Figurs yesterday to talk to him after being activated from the physically-unable-to-perform list, running back Willis McGahee walked by and asserted his claim to Figurs' title as the fastest player on the team.
"Right now, I am faster than him," McGahee blurted out as he walked past the small crowd to the gymnasium.
"Hey, don’t believe that," insisted Figurs, who underwent surgery on his right foot during the offseason.
Figurs was then asked if he could still run a 4.3 in the 40. "Yeah, probably even faster," Figurs said. "4.2 consistently."

That's great. Now get on the field and do it!

Who cares how fast they are? This isn't Madden. I wish they would stay healthy and stop sucking.

Unquestionably, Yamon.

Maybe today, Willis, but there's no way you at your best are faster than Figurs at his best.

McGahee hasn't been able to run that fast since the abrupt end of his last collegiate game.
He's got the potential to be a very productive every down back, but a game breaker he has never been...

Maybe once the Ravens cut him, the Raiders will give him a big contract.
Heyward-Bay and Figurs would be the all NFL speedy WR team, with questionable hands.

This better be a do-or-die season for Figurs...he has had way too many injuries.

Neon Dion is still faster then both of them right now

If he even thinks he can run a 4.3 that could mean Willis may finally live up to the potential he showed before he blew out his knee.
Before he got injured I would have believed him if he said he could run a 4.2. He never seemed to get close to getting caught once he got the corner and he was not just an outside runner. I do not think he could have even injured himself as badly as he did if he was not going so dang fast.

I thought Fabian Washington was the fastest Raven.

Remember Deion saying "He's scared. Marshall, he's scared"

Thats good that figurs is still so fast .....he can quickly retrieve the balls that he drops and he can get off the field quickly after he returns a kick like a scared little girl scout afraid of contact....his first few games he was dynamite...after he got hit real hard he plays scared.
