Scoring big in the agents' pool

Creative Artists Agency, led by Tom Condon and Ben Dogra, had a second straight record day in the first round Saturday. A year ago, CAA represented six players in the first round, the most ever by one agency.

Saturday, CAA had seven of the first 15 picks in the draft, and nine of the first 19. The count included QB Matt Stafford (1), OT Jason Smith (2), WR Darrius Heyward-Bey (3), RB Knowshon Moreno (12), DE Brian Orako (13), CB Malcolm Jenkins (14), OLB Brian Cushing (15), QB Josh Freeman (17) and WR Jeremy Maclin (19).

Kruger is the same mistake we always make in the second round, drafting an unfinished guy for his potential, It usually doesn't work. I would have taken Cook

If you think the Ravens screwed up drafting Paul Krueger, take a look at their 3rd-round choice: CB Lardarius (Ridiculous) Webb.

This is the same crap this team pulls far too frequently: a few years back, they passed on QB Trent Edwards (who now starts for Buffalo) and went with Yamon Figurs -- who's as big a bust as they've EVER selected.

And in 2009? They've could have selected CB D.J. Moore out of Vanderbilt, but they go with a slow shrimp out of Nicholls State (yes, THE Nicholls State).

I think Ozzie & DeCosta are trying too hard to show they're the smartest ones in the room!

Yes. Patrick. You are completely right. YOU are the smartest one in the room right?

Get over yourself dude. YOu are ignorant if you think you know more than they do. And you called Lardarius Webb SLOW? You do realize he ran the fastest 40 time of all DBs at the combine right?

Patrick,

Since you like Buffalo's ability to draft so much, would you trade the Raven's record for the Bills? I didn't think so, neither would I.

Some will win, some will lose, but I believe history shows the Ravens are consistantly among the most effective draft organizations in the NFL. "In Ozzie we Trust".
