Offensive tackles going fast

With three offensive tackles being taken in the first eight picks, there is a good chance Mississippi OT Michael Oher won't be around by the time the Ravens pick at No. 26. I was hoping Oher might somehow slip to the Ravens, but that was wishful thinking anyway. Oher would be a good pick for the Ravens.

Mike, I really like your analysis. You actually go out on a limb and say things. However, Oher and Andre Smith were never predicted to fall by anyone all the way to the Ravens.

I agree, though, about a OL prospect.

Hmm, good call Mike.

Prophetic

I'll take a nice piece of crow now, thank you.

Well, Mike, you got your wish. I hope this turns out better than the last time the Ravens traded with New England to move up in the first round.

Well, you got your wish. I'm still waiting for ESPN to tell us how much it cost to trade up though. They're too busy flapping their lips to post the details of the trade, I guess.

Good selection, but our last minute trade ups have been costly in the past......
Kyle Boller - 1st round
Jay Graham - 2nd round
Adam Terry - 2nd round

Ravens gave up their 5th rounder.
