Browns looking at Heyward-Bey

The Browns have scheduled a workout with Maryland receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey for tomorrow morning in College Park. They're not going to take him with the fifth pick, so that suggests they are close to pulling the trigger on a trade that sends Braylon Edwards to the Giants.

In that scenario, they get the Giants' 29th pick and would hope that Heyward-Bey might still be available. That would presume the Jets, Vikings, Dolphins, Ravens and Colts all pass on the fastest player at February's combine.

But it could happen.

the Browns are all over the board trying to send up smoke screens. I've even heard they are in the Sanchez mix yet they drafted pretty boy Quinn 2 years ago and had a decent year out of DA. make up your minds on QB's.

I'd love to see the Ravens get Braylon even more that Boldin. I don't remember him having any problems catching the ball before last year; I think it was just part of the Browns whole collapse last year. He's 2 years younger than Boldin and I think just as good or better.

Braylon Edwards would be ideal for us, but there is no way Cleveland trades him within the division.

It could definitely happen. DHB is a high risk/reward player. He has the combine skills and a ton of speed, but there isn't a lot of film to go on, since his QB was mediocre at best. Indications are he doesn't have quick feet horizontally and his hands are questionable at times.

Speed is attractive, and perhaps he could be groomed to make an impact in a season or two, but he's definitely a player you invest in, not one you take out of college and put on the field. I personally think he's one of the riskiest picks in the first round.

I do like his work-ethic and attitude. I'd be sad to see him go to the Browns though. He has potential but I kindof get the impression that their organization is a bit poisonous.
