Trying to travel to Ravens playoff game? Let us know

Are you planning on traveling to Miami for the Ravens playoff game? If you are, we'd like to talk to you. Please e-mail Baltimore Sun reporter Stephen Kiehl. He is working on a story about fans trying to travel to the game, which will be difficult with the Orange Bowl on Thursday and the national championship game Jan. 8. Not the mention all the people already in Florida because, well, it's warmer there than nearly everywhere else.

Yes. I'm going to Miami. Can't wait to get out of this warzone I call home.

My wife and I recently moved to Greenville, South Carolina and have been relegated to watching most of this season on TV - which has been a challenge because the Ravens don't get much national coverage [read: no respect]. After a making the long drive back Sunday from a vacation in Florida we went directly to a local sports bar to watch the game because once again it was not being broadcast here. When the Ravens had the game in hand in the 4th quarter I did what any self respecting die hard Ravens fan would do - Booked plane tickets to go right back to Miami. LET'S GO RAVENS!!

if you're coming down the weather has been sunny high 70's low 80's. lows in the low to mid 60's. right now they are calling for 75 and sunny for sunday. dolphins fans are real excited here. first time in playoffs since 2002. go ravens!

As I was walking to the car from the stadium after yesterday's game, I started calling/texting friends to see who was in for a trip down to Miami this weekend. Everyone wanted to go so once I got home, I looked at plane tickets and was shockingly disappointed at the dearth of available flights home. You can get down there for under $100 on either Friday or Saturday, but getting home would be virtually impossible. Southwest was COMPLETELY SOLD OUT for both Sunday night and all day Monday out of both Ft. Lauderdale and West Palm, AirTran had nothing Sunday night and limited non-direct flights on Monday that were all at least $300 and other airlines were in the $400-$500 range for a one way ticket home on Monday morning. That's when I decided it was probably better to just hope we live to fight another day and go to Tennessee next week and potentially Pittsburgh the following week for the same total expense.

hell yes I'm going. Priced out everything after a few cocktails at the Jags game Sunday. Probably somewhat out of my budget, but when I woke up with a clearer head, I did not regret the decision whatsoever.

I live in Simpsonville and watch the game at Baileys almost every Sunday. If you're not at the game, come hang out with the growing group.

I am going to the game, if anyone wants to meet up for Drinks Sat night please send me an E-mail. It will be great to hang out with fellow Ravens fans before the big game.
We can meet in Coconut Grove or Downtown?
Ben
