McNabb is still dangerous
OK, so Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb isn't the brightest quarterback in the league. And he doesn't know if an NFL game can end in a tie. He is still one of the best in the league, and he'll cause the Ravens some problems Sunday. McNabb looks like the McNabb of old. He is moving around well, and is mechanically sound.
He has completed 227 of 382 passes for 2,711 yards this season, and has thrown for 14 touchdowns. McNabb has thrown eight interceptions, but has a quarterback rating of 84.7. The Ravens have to keep McNabb in the pocket. If not, the Ravens could lose two in a row.
While on the subject of quarterbacks, Ravens rookie Joe Flacco gave McNabb a shout out. Flacco said he was aware that a game could end in a tie, but said people were making far too much of a deal out of McNabb not knowing.
I agree with Flacco.

The Eagles are a prime example of how to waste a franchise QB's career. The one year they actually got the guy a receiver, they dominated and went to the dance. They never had one before and haven't since, the constant mediocre receivers and realization that they have no running game means they're in for a long day on Sunday.

who did the ravens cut to bring in slaughter? are they gonna address the o line in the offseason?

maybe the Ravens will learn from the Eagles mistake and get Flacco a reciever or two and not waste hia talents. it is very apparent that we do not have the quality recievers needed for Flacco to flourish as he gets better with time and experience. no disrespect to Mason ,but he is not a game breaking reciever, he could even be a whole lot more effective if we had a quality game breaking, big play making reciever on the other side to compliment him. Mason is a greta go to guy when you need to get a first down or move the ball down the field, hejust is not the type of reciever that can break a game open when you need it. let's go Ozzie hear the voices and get us a game breaking playmaker that Flacco desperatley needs.

Mike B, don't forget that they did go after T.O., but the crybaby didn't want to come to Baltimore. Good riddance.

It's always great to see an eagle fan and ask them if they enjoyed the TO experience, and if so then how much?

How can anyone be ok with McNabb not knowing a game can end in a tie? Any 10yr old who follows the game knows that. Anyone giving McNabb a pass is just trying to help cover his butt.

Dave: you are exactly right. Eagles fan here living in DC.... and Andy Reid is the most stubborn a$$ - thinks he knows more than anyone else - and refuses to change.
Sad thing is - our defense is really good this yr - but with our head coach - we'll still be in last place. If anyone can relate to the wasting of good defense - it's Ravens fans the past few yrs.. but at least you guys have a ring.

Yeah, and don't forget that not one team T.O. has played for has won the championship, T.O. is a cancer no matter how he or his team try to spin it! We should be ecstatic here that T.O. wanted no part of the Ravens, if you thought things were bad for a few years without him with the ego problems , just think what they would have been with him!

Mike,
How can you excuse what McNabb is saying. Flacco is just saying the politically correct thing to say as a fellow QB. You're job is to look at things in an unbiased light. The Field General of a team doesn't know a crucial NFL rule and you think that's OK? That's like a Presidential candidate not know how many states there are in the country they are trying to become Commander in Chief of. Oh yeah, nevermind.
