Rolle seeing red
The Ravens are optimistic about cornerback Samari Rolle returning Sunday against Cleveland, but Rolle is more guarded. When asked if he was playing Sunday, Rolle pointed to the red jersey in his locker, which meant he had not been cleared for contact in practices. Rolle was optimistic about returning two weeks ago, but team doctors failed to clear him. Rolle wants to play, but doesn't want to get his hopes up like last time
Rolle has missed the past five games with a neck injury. He hasn't played since Sept. 21.

I will go on record today 10/30/08 that chris m will not only be put on Ir and be done for the year, i also say that the ravens will give him a INJURY SETTLEMENT and he will be gone forever. They have no intention what so ever of bringing him back for 8 million the next 2 years. That will free up significant cap space for the team and also it will show who is in charge around here .

This is rediculous. They will not get rid of Cmac. You know who is in charge, the fans. they pay every week. I dont have season tickets on the 47 yard line so i can watch john harbaugh walk the sidelides. no. i pay to watch the best 22 players play, and c mac is one of them

Rolle was cleared to play according to Coach in his news conference yesterday.

CMac is done in bmore and its time to move on...when healthy he is one of the best 22 on the field but if u can only count on him bein healthy for 4 games a year he is worth much less than 8 mil over the next 2...save the cap and bring in younger talent at the corner position

I will keep mum on the future of C-Mac, but I will say that giving him an injury settlement will not free up cap space, at least not immediately. If anything it will hurt us and out efforts to sign any / all of the "Big 3" potential free agents we have (Lewis, Scott, and Suggs). So don't count on anything other than a possible attempt to renegotiate / extend to make his salary more cap friendly, and then a trade.
My two cents, you now have them.

The chickens have come home to roost.......actually they never left because they were crippled.....but Ozzie got you all a shiny new quarterback to take your minds off of that reality....forget about taking advantage of a defense that could have been reinforced so that it could actually carried the team to the playoffs....enjoy the growth of your future franchise quarterback...at the expense of the leagues best interior defense...... once again....another year wasted.....when its gone and teams are marching the ball up and down the field like they do on almost all the other teams in the league...then you will realize what you had....and how you didnt take advantage of it...the problem is you've had it for so long you take it for granted.

Well, I don't know about some of the fans, but I ay my money to hopefully see a winnign team , not to see Chris McAlister. I think Harbaugh is going in the right direction with this team just like a lot of the other coaches in the NFL are starting to do, they are regaining control of their teams, you put a winner on the field and giys like McAlister will be no more than an afterthought!

Big Daddy - they have to sign Jason Brown, too. In my opinion more important than the big 3.

Jason Brown are you kidding me! While a guard/center is important this team would not exist if it was not for the big three. They lead the defense and the team. We all know that the raven strength is their defense so trying to sign a center before locking up Suggs and Scotts would be a mistake. Sign the big three then take care of Jason this team is nothing without their foundation (Scott, Suggs, and Lewis).

it is hard to figure out what they are going to do so the best way is to work on the offense and and the special teams for a year or two and then retool the defense with pick up and trades my opion keep[ uggs or trade him with rolle or c mac for picks that they can use then with the D line is has 2 of there 3 starters over 30 and declining
