Next three games

Despite losing three straight games, the spirit on this team seems to remain high and upbeat.

But that may change if the Ravens don't win one of the next three games against Miami, Oakland and Cleveland.

It's one thing to lose to Pittsburgh, Tennessee and Indianapolis, but it's another story to lose to three struggling teams, even if the games are on the road.

But even though they lost against pissburgh and tennesse....the defense knows they outplayed both teams....they know they were the dominant forces in each game... only to have defeat snatched away from the jaws of victory.. by their raw dough underdeveloped quarterback and their inexperienced bad decision making head coach....so its not so much a question of spirt as it is psychie....that little voice in the back of their minds that says no matter how well we play.... this rookie quarterback learning experiment is going to do us in.....and we dont deserve this....we are the leagues best..... and we deserve support not an unneccessary added disadvantage given to us by our general manager based on a political reason having to do with popular opinon and general perception......the realty was the defense was good enough to win games for this team with improvements at the corner positions....makeing the decision to draft Flacco at 18 created an unnatural situation that left the defense in no mans land...out on a limb..... out in the cold.... to support an unreasonable heavy load courtesy of Ozzie and Co.....this is his way of saying thanks Ray Lewis and company for being the best for the last eight years...let me make sure your career with the Ravens ends with an unsupported thud instead of a possible championship....and dont tell me that was not possible with the obvious effectiveness that this defense is still displaying

do you know if when they use the wildcat, the running back becomes the qb? meaning if they sack him, is it really a sack, and is there the same no contact with the helmet rule like there is for a qb?

Rob... you are ridiculous. first of all, Flacco was NOT drafted by Ozzie with the intent to start right away, he was going to be the third option this year. CIRCUMSTANCE (the injuries to Boller and Smith) led to Flacco starting, not Ozzie's personal agenda. Second, If you listen to the players, particularly the defensive ones, they have full faith in Flacco and the offense. Third, was it Flacco who gave up a 70 yard drive to Kerry Collins to lose the Tennessee game? no. Was it Flacco who gave up 31 to the Colts last week? No. Football is a TEAM sport, it is completely uncalled for to lay all the blame on Joe Flacco. Two years from now when he is a superstar you will have a # 5 jersey on your back just like everyone else in this city.
