Hold the O-line

Adam Terry is back on the practice field, but I would keep the offensive line intact for at least another week, if possible, before putting him back in the starting lineup. The offensive line has played fairly well in the past two games, and has been very physical. Terry could play either guard or tackle. It seems he would be inserted a right guard. Guard Chris Chester had two holding penalties last week against the Raiders, but the Ravens still had more than 190 yards rushing and didn't allow a sack.

As the old saying goes, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Well said! one more week would give Terry a little more time to heal and come back 100% healthy, and if need be could be inserted in the lineup Sunday if the line perfornmance starts to suffer some! It is my guess that the coaching staff may be thinking on those lines also, at least I hope so, but that being said they have better info than any of us do to make that decision!

I agree that Terry should take the time he needs to come back 100% but I think he is really needed out there. Anderson is getting the job done but he looks like he is wearing down with each game. They didn't allow any sacks last week but it was the Raiders. There was a lot of pressure on Flacco and A LOT of penalties. As the games get tougher they will need Terry.

Going into the season there were questions, questions, questions about the O-Line. Now, even with two starters down dare we say it is becoming a strength for this team? How has their development happened so quickly?

I agree with Mike B. We will need Terry for the rest of the year. He is our most versatile lineman and he will be essential as the season progresses. Yanda is on IR, Gaither has been on and off the injury lists and Anderson is pretty old. We need Terry at 100%. Coming back from surgery after one week is impressive and tough but we need to be smart too.

I would agree with that. I don't think that they really miss Terry that much. Yanda is more of a loss to the offensvie line.

Hey, Mike!
I read your article about the young l-backers and want to know what you think the Ravens should do with Suggs, Scott and Ray-Ray? Certainly, with the young talent they have at backer they can afford to let one or all of them walk, but is Ray enough of an icon and team leader that they have to sign him? Personally, I would hate to lose too much cap room signing Ray cuz at his age, the injuries are going to start coming.

Preston, I will say I agree I think he should stay out for another game, let him rest a little. I must say that I am surprised that Chester has played pretty well, I thought he was going to be another bust, maybe he just didn't work out at center.
