Update on Kelly Gregg

I'm getting a little concerned about defensive tackle Kelly Gregg. He had arthroscopic knee surgery last month and still hasn't practiced.

According to Gregg, he has been swimming as much as Michael Phelps to rehab, and he sleeps at night with an electronic device shooting impulses through his knee.

But nothing can settle his knee down and reduce the swelling. It's looking more and more likely that he won't be able to play Sunday against the Bengals.

No worries, our DL is the most talented core, esp. with all that solid depth.

Man, that is terrible news. Gregg is to this day an underrated force on the line. Hopefully Bannan or someone else can pick up at least some of the slack.

Thats really not good news at all about Kelly Gregg, who has been one of the most underrated defensive players in the NFL for the past 3 to 4 years. One thing that has really irked me about Harbaugh is his lack of disclosure about injuries. I understand the need to be discrete during the season so that the weeks opponent doesnt have the chance to gameplan for such things. But during the summer, there's no reason to not let the fans know what's happening with the team. The whole Ed Reed situation really got under my skin, especially when we had to wait for Ed to tell us what was wrong with him while the coaches remained silent. Harbaugh needs to learn to deal with the media and fans in a way that can please both sides.

Sounds like Chris MacAllister. Maybe it's time for the Ravens to get some new docs and I am not joking.

Those tuff camp injuries can sure come back to haunt you huh!

As the Ravens injuries add up, this week's game could be deemed, Ocho Cinco vs. Ouch-o-sink-us!

Sounds like a botched procedure, common these days.

Not good news for one the most underrated defensive lineman in the game, and worse news for the Ravens.Kelly is a throwback, a real blue collar player. Sacrificing his body, always in the mix and taking on multiple blockers play after play. A balky knee or ankle to an interior defensive lineman, especilly with Kelly's "human dynamo" style of play is not a good thing. For the Ravens to lose him and Reed on defense would be like the 66' Orioles losing Paul Blair and Andy Etchebarren. Get well soon Kelly, pleeeez!
