Rolle update

The Ravens could have as many as three defensive starters out Monday night against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Safety Dawan Landry and Kelly Gregg have already been ruled out, and there is a good chance cornerback Samari Rolle will miss the game because of neck and shoulder problems.

When asked in the locker room if he was out for the game, Rolle said he had not been declared out yet. He asked me what I had heard, and I said, "a source says you are out."

Rolle replied: "I would say your source is pretty good."

I hope Washington is ready to go.

Hey Mike,

Thanks for the update. How has F. Washington looked this week in practice? Has he looked solid enough to step in for Rolle this week? I'm not too worried about Pitt's passing attack, especially with Big Ben still hobbled somewhat and their O-Line looking shaky, but it would be nice to Fabian on the field in good health, because he looked pretty solid during the preseason, at least in moments. I'm also not impressed with Walker, so here's to hoping Oglesby and Martin step up so he doesn't have to see the field except to pick a fight with someone we want thrown out!

A big amen on Walker. It would be fun to see him cover Ward and see who would get the most penalties.
