F. Washington vs. Rolle
If, as expected, cornerback Samari Rolle does not play Monday against the Steelers, Fabian Washington will replace him. According to defensive coordinator Rex Ryan, Washington has had a good week of practice despite some nagging injuries. Rolle is having a good season, and has performed well in man-to-man coverage. Washington isn't as good in press coverage, but he is better in run support. Washington comes up and tackles well, and that will be helpful against a team like Pittsburgh because the Steelers like to run the ball.

What is it with some of these Ravens, it seems it is always the same guys who keep missing time , Samari Rolle seems to only play maybe 1/4 of as seaon at best?

What's wrong with Rolle now? I like that Washington is better against the run, except we're gonna shut down theyre rushing attack anyway. We need pass coverage for this game.

Can we please stop complaining about these guys' injuries?!! I'm sick of hearing it. Does anyone REALLY think any one of these guys would choose to sit on the bench if they can be on the field?! That's an entirely ignorant and simplistic point of view. This is their profession, their career and their passion. No one makes it to the NFL for being quick to sit down. Injury management is part of the profession of football. Instead of busting on these guys from our desk chairs and sofas, we should be looking at what the team has for personnel, and what the team does to play a season of football manned by a bunch of guys who threaten injury on every play! That, right there, is what makes a good team, not a group of 22 men plus special teams who play football for 21 weeks without an injury. If Landry had dislocated his shoulder instead of almost paralyzing himself, would these same people be jumping down his throat in 3 weeks for being out?? PLEASE.

Right on, Brandon. We seem to be forgetting the fact that these guys are in essence risking their lives for our enjoyment. Half of these guys won't even walk right by the time they're 50, so lay off. I would rather go 0-16 than have to see another ravens player laying motionless on the field.
