Who missed the start of camp ...

It was almost easier to count the players who didn’t suit up for the first full-team training camp practice than the ones who actually did.

The Ravens placed safety Ed Reed (undisclosed), receiver Demetrius Williams (lower left leg), tight end Daniel Wilcox (offseason toe surgery) and cornerback David Pittman (undisclosed) on the physically unable to perform list.

The team also designated cornerbacks Chris McAlister and Fabian Washington and fullback Le’Ron McClain on the non-football injury list.

If these players remain on the lists at the start of the regular season, they will have to miss the first six games.

The other players absent were defensive end-linebacker Terrell Suggs (protesting franchise tag) and cornerback Samari Rolle (father’s death).

What's wrong with Ed Reed?

What is wrong with Reed, McAlister, Washington and McClain?

He's still worn out from getting burned last year by so many deep balls.

what's wrong with any of them?...what's happened since OTA's?...this is weak sauce!

Let's see, you named 9 players not in uniform. There is an 80 player limit.
Of course it would be easier to count the players who didn't suit up.

What was the number the Patriots put out yesterday 17-20 players on the unable to perform list. All these players have do is play once or practice once and they are off the list. No big deal

Oh well if it happened to the Patriots then it must be fine...

If the patriots did it....must be cheating!

I thought that T. Sizzle (or Fizzle) agreed to a compromise between the franchise amount for an LB and a DE (8.5 mil). Why didn't he sign the contract at that time? 8.5 mil is a pretty good salary for a one dimensional (good pass rushing, poor pass coverage and run stopping ) DE/LB).

Did Belichek get the injuries on video?
Or is this all a big cover up.
Hmm.

They agreed for the '08 season, but has not signed the agreement yet. Once signed, then he's obligated to show up at camp. He has until some date in the future (maybe opening day?) to sign before the agreement goes away. He's now waiting to sign out of protest, because they haven't come to an agreement on a long term contract and as a result B.R. trumped him with the franchise tag...dejavu with Chris Mcalister in '03.
It's all contractural BS! Play the game and stop letting your team down "Fizzle"!
