Another hit on defense
It's the price of holding a physical training camp, but that price is a little scary right now for the Ravens. Nine-year veteran defensive tackle Kelly Gregg was seen limping heavily in the hotel lobby this afternoon, his left leg tapped from the knee down.
Although there was no injury report issued by the team, Gregg obviously was hurt in live drills during the morning session. He "waddled" through the lobby without the use of crutches.
On Sunday, defensive tackle Haloti Ngata suffered what is believed to be a sprained knee during the same live drills. That means the team's two front-line defensive tackles are sitting out camp for at least a little while.

Comments
The team can ill afford to lose either Gregg or Ngata given the depth on this team. Buckle up for a long season. Coach H means well, but maybe take the foot off the gas just a tad. Billick was way too soft, but being the extreme opposite could be just as bad.

The 2008 Ravens are becoming the modern-day equivalent of Bear Bryant's Junction Boys.
I hope everybody makes it out of camp ok.

Folks,
Last year we went through this also. Its just opening of camp. Gregg had no issues making it through the whole year after being dinged up in what seemed like day one of camp creampuff last year.

Better at the begining of training camp and miss a couple of pre season games then get hurt in the begining of the regular season and miss games that count.

Harbaugh's an idiot. Running "tough"/physical/"old school" training camps results only in having a bunch of injured players. Given the depth issues with this team, a smart coach wouldn't be having all his players beating the tar out of one another. It's a long, physical season, no need to add the the chances of injury by exposing the players to unnecessary risks by running a "tough" training camp.
