Boulware's trying politics

Would you vote a car salesman into public office?

How about a former football star?

Or, in the case of former Raven Peter Boulware, both.

Needless to say, Boulware is hoping that his legacy at Florida State, as well as the connections he has made as president of Legacy Toyota of Tallahassee, will help him get elected to the Florida House of Representatives.

Boulware, who played nine years in Baltimore after being the fourth overall pick in the draft and the AP's defensive Rookie of the Year in 1997, is running for the statehouse. He is hoping to represent Leon and Jefferson counties.

Hope he makes more difference than he did in the last few years of his Ravens contract.

the last few years of his ravens contract? are you kidding me? the man had 15 sacks as a defensive end playing someone else's position in 2002..........the man was a beast and a testament to the drafting prowess of Ozzie Newsome, hope he does well

He has my vote. But wait. I don't live in FL.

It's interesting that the only mention of his political affiliation is the small print at the bottom of the page. Seems like many politicians aren't as quick to be "loud and proud" about their party these days...
