« Ravens shouldn't rush decision | Main | Rex Ryan's future »

January 15, 2008

The gang's all here

In the first sign of activity in the last six days, Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti and president Dick Cass have arrived at the team's headquarters in Owings Mills.

Cass got in early, parking his car slightly after 8 a.m. Bisciotti pulled in about 9:15. Their arrival suggests that they are still --- and will continue -- negotiating with Dallas Cowboys offensive coordinator Jason Garrett. The Ravens may be pressed today to hammer out a deal with Garrett, who reportedly is scheduled to fly to Atlanta to interview with the Falcons for their head coaching vacancy.

Any word on whether or not he brought Romo with him???

So if Cass is at the facility, who is driving Garrett? The trainer? The towel boy? Kyle Boller?

In all seriousness though, you are right, they are definitly negotiating with Garrett. The touring is over with. The questions have all been asked, now they are begging Jason not to fly to Atlanta ( and probably Rex Ryan as well, since he would be next in line for the Falcons job if Garrett stays here).

Well it's being reported on espn that the ravens have offereed the job to boy genius GARRETT. He hasn't accepted the offer as of yet. It's bad enough that Steve is jumping through hoops for the wrong guy, but.we aren't even sure if he even wants to come here.Look all i can say is when the owner puts his money up he can do what he wants, I am quite sure this isn't ozzie's selection because he is more from the old school. This seems to be the newest in VOGUE thing to do in the NFL hire unproven coaches who haven't even payed there dues.Good luck Steve for everybody's sake , just hope your not another PETER A who was very successful in business ventures but is a absolute bust in running a sports franchise.

They offer him the job, and he has got the nerve to tell them he is undecided. It's bad enough that Steve is prostituting himself to get this guy, but he doesn't even want the job. Jerry jones has told garrett that he will match any offer that the ravens give him. I never thought that this organiztion would stand for second best. They ought to tell him to pound sand up his ass and Hire Marty to bring some respectibility back to this organiztion.

What happened to Coach Cower? Will this young and inexperienced coach handle a team of veterans?
Don't let Atlanta cause the Ravens to make a mistake!
