Making that first impression

No one can accuse John Fassel of not rolling out the welcome mat.

The special teams assistant sported a sparkling white Princeton polo shirt on the same day that Dallas Cowboys offensive coordinator Jason Garrett, a Princeton graduate, arrived at the team's headquarters for a second interview.

The Princeton shirt was a curious choice for the Weber State graduate, but Fassel claimed that he wasn't trying to cozy up to Garrett.

"My brother coaches there," said Fassel, who turned 34 six days ago.

And it's true. Mike Fassel, 26, has been the director of football operations for Princeton for the past three years.

I use to have a great deal of respect for our front office , but i am starting to have my doubts. The ravens have offered the job to GARRETT, and he the nerve to tell them he wants to think about it. What he meant to say was he is going to see what better offers he receives. And by special offers i mean use us as leverage to force Jerry Jones to fire WADE as head coach and hire him. This is bullsh*t why are the ravens allowing him to use them as pawns, when this once proud organization should tell him to take it or leave it.I din't want him in the first place but steve got caught up in the new vogue thing in the NFL and that is hire inexperienced young coaches that haven't begun to pay there dues. I sure hope they know what they are doing up there in that castle of there's because they will wind up becoming just like our other team in this town and that is second class.

I certaintly have enjoyed leaving commnets on this site the last week or so but i keep asking myself why does it take so long to appear. It says if you haven't left a comment here before it needs to be approved =by the site owner. why i have left many emails on these sites it takes all the fun out of emailing , having to wait so long .

Garrett is in a great position. If 90% of us were in his shoes we would probably do the same thing i.e. take your time making an extremely important decision. Besides, do we know exactly what he and Bisciotti said to each other? If Bisciotti is cool with it everyone else should be too.

If Garrett is hired because couched Romo and from what I have seen Romo dose not have to much between the ears. How good can Garrett be??????
