Mason: Right receivers going to Pro Bowl
Although wide receiver Derrick Mason ranks third in the league in receptions with 92, he said he did not feel slighted when he was not named to the Pro Bowl.
“I understand and realize what’s going on,” said Mason, who trails only the Cincinnati Bengals’ T.J. Houshmandzadeh (101 catches) and the New England Patriots’ Wes Welker (96). “The other four guys that made it, hands down, they should have [for] what they have done throughout the course of the season. All but one has a winning record, and that’s Houshmandzadeh. If you look at the body of work that those other three or four [have done], you can’t blame the fans or the coaches or players for picking those guys, because they deserve it.”

I just drove past The Canton Station Tavern. The crazy guy who said he is living on the roof until the Ravens win is still up there doing his thing. He is starting to look a little ragged and exhausted. Lets hope the Ravens pull out an upset this weekend so the poor guy can go home to his family for Christmas. In the mean time, swing by and show him your support.

You're right Derek. A few more guys like Derrick Mason will put the pressure on flag throwing Bart Scott and chest-thumping Terrell Suggs to do their job with class and dignity and not be jumping around the field showing off.

unfortunately for Derrick the total distance of all of his receptions are almost enough to get him to the concession stand....please teach these talented young receiver's how to properly run routes, sell fakes and create seperation. There's certainly no one better in the league...we're trying to get that Buckeye/Hurricane type of excitment in Baltimore... God knows it's long overdue....OK Spartan's to [Mushin Muhamad Andre Rison /Derrick Mason....Lorenzo [big cat ] White/ Magic johnson /Gregory Kelser...OK...PLEASE...teach them!
