Kalil
Don't be surprised if the Ravens trade down on draft day in the first round to pick up an additional third-round pick. The Ravens really like USC center Ryan Kalil and there are some who think he might be available in the second round. If that's the case and the Ravens can make a deal, they might drop back. When you're drafting No. 29 overall like the Ravens, you're basically drafting in the second round anyway. -Mike Preston

I'm not sold on Kalil. We should just get Ben Grubbs and call it a day. That kid is a Raven's type player. Maybe then we draft a real mauler type of tackle later in the draft and set up a line of terry, brown, chester, grubbs and mauler right tackle. The ravens always run right and up the middle, which we would have no problem doing with a line like that.
If we trade then it should be that we get someone's 1st round pick next year and a 3rd pick this year or flipflop 2nd round picks.

Kalil would be a great pick! He's almost equivalent to Kelly Gregg with his use of leverage, quickness and strength.

Do the ravens have any interest in
picking Josh Wilson . What are his
chances of becoming a Raven and
what overall rank would you give him
in the draft?

only if they don't move behind cleveland.....the browns are desperate for a center and are said to covet kalil.

I have been thinking about a trade down and have looked at San Francisco at 42 which is 13 spots lower. I would ask for a third plus one of their 4's. That would give the 49'ners a chance to land another defensive player since defense is top heavy this year. However, if Staley is available at 29, I do not think that the Ravens will trade down
