Corey Dillon

Every time I think of Corey Dillon, I just remember how he waved off coach Bruce Costlet when he was with the Bengals, and he wouldn't go back in the game against the Ravens because he was afraid of No. 52. The next day, the head coach was fired. Maybe he has changed, but he quit that day here in Baltimore. -Mike Preston

I'd still take Dillon over Jamal. Because then Brian will be forced to give Corey no more than 20 carries and Anderson can get 10. That's better than 30 for Jamal and 3 for Mike.

I can't believe that the Ravens are even thinking of getting this bum. Nor can I understand why we would show that perennial a-hole Joey Porter any interest. He STINKS... does anyone think that he is good anymore. It makes me sick to even think of him in a Ravens uniform. HE Stinks!

That was Ray at his peak: making big strong backs curl up like little babies. Eddie George also quit against him that season.

Different time. Times change.

Its a mistake not to look at the footage of what he did for the patriots recently and to use his past as a bengal against him.

Likewise, its silly to use Jamal's past a good runner for the Ravens as an indicator of his value when his last 2 years have been sub-par at best.

Honestly Mike, you and Jamal MUST be friends because all of these posts are pro-resigning him.

Ya. I think he was the guy that broke the "no 100 yrd rusher" record. Maybe Ray Ray was paying him back that day. But if everyone wants to talk about a washed-up running back . . . .

Corey "I wear my sunglasses at Night" Dillion, we don't need. I agree with you Preston. TJ Dukett, L. Jordon would be good choices if we are strapped for cash. The bottom line is that Jamal should suck it up, play for less and be a 1/2 of 3rd quarter, 4th quarter back JUST like Jerome Bettis did. He can retired in the community of Baltimore and be set for life. If we get J Lewis, great, if don't; we can get by what we got. I know Green Bay is in the same situation that we are in now, but what North / South Running Back wants to play in the Frozen Tundra? B-more would make a good for fit any Rb. And lets not forget to look over our shoulder, I believe the T. Ttitans will be picking up a veteran Rb player cheap as well.

We do not need these old RB and Buffalo can keep theirs. Chemistr is ecessary. Jamal shoud retire. Thanks for what you did here. BUT it is over.

Draf RB QB OLine and DB as priority. It would be nice to add speedy WR with great hands.
Trade Ed Reed His comments made me see he will not be here after next yr too. So get a no 1 for him from GB, SF, Detroit...

I agree with another poster here, you must be friends with Jamal.

Jamal, Corey Dillon, TJ Duckett, Lamont Jordan... poor excuses for a starting HB. They're either washed up, or glorified back-up running backs. The Ravens made a good move retaining Musa Smith, now we need to either draft a young, fast running back or try to trade for Willis McGahee.

I, for one, would like to see the Ravens acquire McGahee. People have complained about his lack of production last year, but he was injured for a significant portion of it.

He also showed a lot of toughness wanting to play through a serious injury and then scoring two TDs in a game against the Jaquars defense with broken ribs.

This is the guy we want, a young, tough running back who would fit in very well with Steve Mcnair and company.
