Ravens win

I understand the Ravens just played a great physical game against the Steelers and will play tomorrow night with one less day of preparation than the Bengals. But they'll win. The Bengals have two starting offensive linemen out of the game, including their starting left tackle. It's supposed to rain hard by game time, which also favors the Ravens. The Bengals have improved since the last time the two teams played. Their passing game seems to be in sync. But the Ravens have also gotten better since the last time they played each other. It'll be close, but the Ravens steal another one this season just like they did against the Chargers.

You stole my thought on the Rain. It would definately affect the passing games and give the edge to the Ravens running game over Cincy's. This is like every road game, avoid early turnover's and the Ravens win. Give Cincy a turnover for a TD and lose.

I disagree unfortunately. I can't remember the Ravens winning in bad weather. Remember the Denver game during the Superbowl season? And the Denver game this year (I think it was raining).

I actually feel like it gives the offense the advantage - particularly the receivers. For example, If they give a double move and go up top, the secondary often can't regain their footing fast enough, etc.

Hate to say it, but I think the Bengals win 13-10.

Heck even without the rain the Ravens still have the upper-hand. The defense for the Bengals is weak and with a hot Mcnair they don't stand a chance. Plus with all the trash talk going on it is going to get our D' pumped and ready. They are going to dominate on both sides of the ball. Tune in on Monday night to see Houshmandzadeh get JACKED UP!!!

Come on Mike......NO MORE motivation for the other team....do you think that Marvin Lewis reads your Blogs like Mike Shanahan did??????

At least you did not call them SOFT!!!!!

At least someone at the Sun is picking the home team. I never take what the, Scmuck named Peter, says to heart, but Jamison not picking the Ravens dissapoints me. At least your drinking the cool-aid, Mike. As Jim Miller said today on a certain radio show, "When I pick games I usually like to go with the better team and the Ravens are clealy the better team." There is no doubt in my mind that the Ravens are going to punch them in the mouth. Don't forget, Coach Billick rested a lot of key players in the second half once the game was in hand. Marvin Lewis kept his players in and tried to run up the score. The football gods will get him for that.

If you have Comcast cable digital plus, I believe the NFL.NET channel is 275 for tomorrow nights game. Do I stand corrected?

The football Gods must be looking out for our Ravens. The Bengals passing attack has been dominant over the past several weeks but now it'll be neutralized by the rain predicted for the game. If it does rain the game will be a rout for the Ravens. I predict a ball controlled rushing attack that quite frankly mirrors the Pittsburgh game Sunday. T.j. Who's your momma will be crying for his momma Thursday. I bet Rex has a special little defensive gem planned for the cry baby that will not only make him eat his words but rethink his comments after the first game. T.j. will have a special post game meal Thursday night and it will include a special entree consisting of his own words and as the French say "bon appetite.

There are two keys to this game for the Ravens: running the football effectively and getting pressure on Palmer with the front four.

Keeping Palmer and Co. on the sideline won't be enough, as their high-flying passing attack doesn't need much time to score points. But not keeping them on the sideline as much as possible would be disastrous. When they are on the field, the front four need to force Palmer to make quick decisions. It won't matter if we had 11 pro-bowl cornerbacks in coverage if Palmer has time to wait for receivers to get open.

I also believe the Ravens have strengthened since the two teams have last met. I, obviously being from Baltimore am routing for the Ravens to come out in the end. These Ravens are a fighting machine- nothing can stop then...Especially since Ray Lewis is back---Ray Lewis and Company back again!!!

This game is perfectly teed up for the Ravens. 3.5 underdogs against a team they already beat once this year PLUS National TV and the whole league watching PLUS T.J.'s mouth after the last game - which they have decided to answer On the Field not in the media... This one is teed up like a Titlest for Tiger. SSSSSHHHWWWAAAACK!

I believe Ed Reed will have a big game in the rain. I predict 2 interceptions.

Missing starters will be the difference as the Ravens continue to bring pressure on the QB.
Cincy is pretty banged up, and the Ravens are healthy. The rain will also slow down the Cincy passing game. Billick will rotate his backs to keep fresh legs banging the low-rated Cincy run defense. Look for Jamal and possibly Ovie to score touchdowns in a 24-17 Ravens win.

I am so jacked up for tonights win!

Hate to say it, but Tony Hampden called it right. For some reason, the Ravens have almost always played poorly in the rain. I remember Miami embarrassing us a few years back as well.

Well, bring on the Chiefs...
