The Baltimore Cowboys

After watching the New York Giants beat up on Dallas Monday night, the Cowboys look a lot like the Ravens. They have a good defense which will keep them in most games. They have really good skilled players, including the two receivers, tight end and running backs. The problem is the offensive line, an aging quarterback and a young quarterback who panics.

Sound familiar?

Cowboys quarterback Drew Bledsoe took a beating Monday night because his offensive line was terrible. Bledsoe, like Steve McNair, is a quarterback in decline, a shell of his former self. Third year quarterback Tony Romo came in to replace Bledsoe, and he looked really tight and panicked initially, just like My Man Kyle Boller. They're either the Baltimore Cowboys or the Dallas Ravens.

How about an incredibly arrogant head coach? They have that too...

no that's deep...that is so true!

Field goal kicking contests - wow ...well those contests -must be carrying over to the games ....because it seems like thats all we have done since 2003 - and i am sure before that...the ravens should be having touchdown contests - in practice .....
maybe that will carry over to gameday...i know field goals are huge but even my aunt bessie -could kick one back in her day in westminster...new orleans is not the same team they were in 2005...they are a good team and seem playoff bound in 2006 -we are going to need more than a field goal to win...most of my friends agreed though to panic at 4-2 and fire the offensive coordinator was not good...it shows the other teams we have fear -and at 4-2 and with a new qb -we should have been more patient...i really think - billick can do better -but to add that to his plate is tough...i think billick is a smart man -he is using this field goal exercise as a buffer -if the ravens play games and lose 20-0 or 21 -10....

Shame, shame, shame. Dallas' offensive line was worse than the Ravens. While there ARE SOME similarities, at least the Raven's offensive line did give McNair time to take a couple of steps back. Bledsoe barely caught the snap before he kissed dirt.

They are identical teams . . . other than the fact that the Ravens defense has given up 59 fewer points, have a winning record and are tied for first place in their respective division.

There are many teams in this league that may look like other teams at any given point in a season. In that Monday night game, the mighty Bears looked like the 1-6 Cardinals, and the Cardinals looked like the 6-0 Bears. Again, these comparisons are meaningless.
