McNair
No one should be alarmed that quarterback Steve McNair only worked out lightly Monday. Coming off the bye week, the Ravens have more time to let him get back into the starting lineup. If McNair is not on the practice field by Wednesday or Thursday, then the Ravens might have trouble. By the way, missing practice is nothing new for McNair. Late in his career in Tennessee, McNair often missed practice and played on Sunday. McNair's absence will get backup Kyle Boller more reps during practice, which is good for the Ravens because Boller is going to be needed at some point during the rest of the season.

McNair may be young in age but his body is a old in football years. Question: Who is third qb on this team?

This is make or break time for Billick. Don't expect the owner to sit still if we see more of zero offense and awful clock managment. We've talked about the lack of o-line pass defense, merely changing Coaches should not make a huge difference, but we will see.
If Billick has been right all along about the line being fine the O will ignite; but far more likely is that Billick will be packing his bags and heading for warmer lodgings.

Thanks to the Carolina game, the prospect of Boller having to play isn't nearly as worrisome as it might have been.
Boller did what Redman didn't: without sufficient snaps to really prepare, he still came out looking prepared. Yes, he had some luck, but he also played well. The O-line didn't block any better for him than it has for McNair (which Boller is surely used to), but he still gave us more of a verticle game than we've had this year.
Given more snaps with the starting team, I think we can expect to see Boller able to take even more advantage of shots downfield, as he and the receivers become re-acquianted with each other.

Seems like Chester Taylor would have been perfect for the one back set the Ravens currently utilize. By the way, he's currently the league's 2nd leading rusher...the Ravens have done it again!

I wonder why, with all their personnel activity during the off season, the Ravens don't concentrate on building the offensive line. The Redskins dominated with the Hogs. Chester Tayler is eating up yardage because hs has a line to block for him. McNair and Boller both are hampered by inadequate pass blocking, and Jamal Lewis and other runners by the same problem. An overpowering offensive line is the key to offensive success on any team.

Stop putting so much on the shoulders of McNair. This is supposed to be a team effort. Has anyone taken into consideration that every quarterback that has come to Baltimore has had problems; regardless of how good they were before Baltimore.
I think that speaks to the coaches and plays. The Ravens have become predictable and maybe Billick needs to make some changes to the playbook. I am a fan who would love to see the Ravens at least get to the playoffs. I would also love to see some new, improved and exciting plays to make you jump out of your seat. PLEASE
