Chargers game
The Ravens and the Chargers have a lot of similarities from the run-oriented offenses to the Pro Bowl tight ends, to the big name linebackers to the strong front sevens. Playing at home will be an advantage for the Ravens, but I think San Diego has an advantage as far as the offensive and defensive lines. The Chargers haven't given up a sack, and their quarterback Philip Rivers has been hit only twice this season. San Diego may have only played Oakland and the Titans, but those two teams usually play well defensively.
Regardless of what happens, it will be nice to see the Ravens play a respected opponent. When the Steelers played the Jaguars about two weeks ago, you could feel the intensity through the TV set. This game should be the same way.

Hey Mike --
Anyone got a stat on how many times McNair has been hit so far this season? Would imagine with our O line he averages more hits per game than Rivers has taken through Week 3.

And you know with such a big matchup, I would have thought for sure that CBS would bring in their HDTV cameras for the game. Nope. I guess Baltimore still gets no love. Almost every game each Sunday has been in HD this year except for the Ravens' games.

I wish I was home in Baltimore to watch this game. I am over in Iraq and have to hope they show it on AFN which is Armed Forces Network. We have an advantage we are playing at home and we like to defend are house. I see us pulling this game out today but it will be a grind. Two big games in two week's today verses the Chargers and then Monday night against the Broncos. The way the Ravens play makes me able to brag over here and I alway have my Ravens Jersey on gameday around here. I also am taking my vacation in Novemember so I can be home to watch the Falcons and Pittsburgh also. Go Ravens.
