Berken dealing with elbow discomfort
Orioles reliever Jason Berken is dealing with right elbow discomfort that will almost certainly lead to him going to the disabled list, and could potentially end his season.
Berken, who is 1-2 with a 5.80 ERA in 35 appearances, will see renowned orthopedist Dr. Lewis Yocum either tomorrow or Sunday. Orioles orthopedist Dr. John Wilckens is also expected to fly to California and see Berken, possibly on Sunday.
Orioles manager Buck Showalter said that the pain started in Berken's right forearm and has worked its way up his arm. Berken had Tommy John surgery when he was in college, missing his junior season at Clemson.
Showalter said that Berken is not available for the next couple of days and he's a candidate to go to the disabled list Monday to make room for Zach Britton's activation from the DL.

Tough to even joke about this disaster.
JJReyes, back to the scrap heap. Stop the carnage Andy. It's bad enough, you don't have to rub it in. Who's side are you on anyway? Could you have done a worse job if you tried?
In my humble opinion, Reimold has screwed up his golden opportunity at earning himself a job. He could not be any worse, and his horrific all-around play opens yet another hole. Bases loaded, 1 out, and cannot even get a sac fly out of the guy.
Here's an idea-move Jones to left, and find a leadoff hitter that plays CF.
If there are not 10 or more new players on this team next year than the new GM has no intention of fielding even a barely competitive team. That's how bad this team is. Probably worse if you talk to anyone who assembles baseball teams for a living.

perfect ending..12 hits, 3 runs
you cannot strike out 11 times and win games when you don't hit home runs.
Reynolds has resumed his early season offensive play. He needs to hit 8th or 9th, but so do alot of guys on this team. What a screwed up mess of a roster.

Berken may have discomfort in his arm but that doesn't come close to describing how the fans feel .
